REALITY IS JUST A CONSTRUCT, WHAT I PERCEIVE IS MY REALITY!
I SEE WHAT I WANT
This project is about the annoyances the 'pet peeves' that someone might development thoughout their lifetime.
I researched the psychology of how one may develop pet peeves. Whether its a biologigical, environmental, social, or cultural factor.
Looking into the matter of the brain I found that neurodivergent and neurotypical (a term used to refer to those who do not have a neurological disorder such as ADHD, Autism or Dyslexia) have a tendency to rank different pet peeves differently.
I strongly stand by the point that 'Life Is A Construct.' It can be perceived in whatever way that pleases the seer. Which narrowed my idea to look into schizophrenic pet peeves. The stereotypes and stigma related to the disorder made me realise I have an opportunity to expose the facts and disregard the stigmas.
For a person with Schizophrenia, what they see, hear and/or believe is their reality and who am I or you or anyone to say that it isn't.
"What I Perceive Is My Reality."
