PERCEIVED PERFECTION

This project explores perceived perfection and how idealised values can distort reality due to human perception.

Rooted in utopian dress codes, biblical narratives, it reflects on perfection as something lost rather than achievable.

Through blue tailoring and denim, I explore structure vs fluidity, tradition vs disruption, and the beauty found in imperfection.

Awards

This project explored the future of bespoke tailoring through the lens of evolving dress codes and contemporary identity. Responding to changing social and professional landscapes, the collection examined how tailoring can adapt to modern lifestyles shaped by fluidity, self-expression, sustainability, and cultural change. Developed in collaboration with Scabal, the project balanced traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design thinking to propose a new vision of modern dress.
